I have been an accidental photographer since my teens. Photography forces me to focus on the moment. My great American novel can live in the future, but if I don’t take the photo now the light will be gone and the image will be lost.
I am drawn to contrasting color and line as well as unusual lines and shadow.  I am drawn to light playing on rocks in a stream and mist in trees, twilight turning tree branches into lace, and reflections formed on still water.
