I have been an accidental photographer since my teens. Photography forces me to focus on the moment, demanding absolute presence. While other creative pursuits can wait for the future, a photograph requires the immediate moment; if I do not look now, the light will change and the image will be lost.
Based in the Pacific Northwest, my work explores the foundational geometry of the wild. I am drawn to the interplay of contrasting colors, unexpected structures, and deep shadows—whether it is light dancing across a rocky stream, morning mist hanging in the canopy, or twilight turning winter branches into lace.
Through my lens, I look for hidden architecture and living poetry that connect light, line, and life in the natural world.
